What 2ndBids is

2ndBids is an independent listing marketplace where people post collector cars from online auctions that didn't close: a winner who wants to hand off a purchase, a seller whose winning bidder didn't pay, or a seller whose car didn't meet reserve. 2ndBids is not an auction house, a dealer, an escrow agent or a party to any sale. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by any auction platform.

Your responsibilities

• You are responsible for following the terms of the auction platform where the car was originally listed, including rules on exclusivity, transferring a win, fees and refunds.
• Listings must be accurate. List only cars you have the right to sell or hand off.
• An offer you mark as committed is a statement that you can pay the full amount before the pay-by deadline and will not back out or dispute the payment if your offer is accepted.
• Buyers and sellers complete payment, title transfer and shipping directly with each other or through a third-party escrow service they choose.

Information we show

When you paste an auction link, 2ndBids fills in the listing from the link, and reads that one public page. On some sites it uses only the page's share photo. Fee and payment-window figures are estimates based on each platform's published terms and may be out of date. Check them before relying on them.

Membership

Posting, browsing, wishes, offers and messages are free. A paid yearly membership is required to accept an offer and to see another member's contact details. Membership renews each year until you cancel. Cancelling stops the next renewal, and access continues until the end of the paid year. Membership is a subscription to the service. It is not a commission on any sale.

Photos

Only upload photos you took or have the right to use. We remove photos when their owner asks us to.

Contact details

Contact details you add to a listing are visible only to you and to buyers who make an offer on that listing. Contact details you add to an offer are visible only to that listing's owner.

No warranty

2ndBids is provided as is. We don't inspect cars, verify listings or guarantee that any sale will close.
